Hi all,

I've just posted a new video of the Protool PDP 20 on my site, www.tutorwood.com. It shows a range of applications and accessories that this new gutsy little drill can be used for.

Hope you enjoy,

Cheers for now

Nice video.  That is an impressive demonstration.  I bet once JMB gets back from holiday and he sees this he'll be getting one. [tongue]  I hope we get this tool in the States.

This video is worth checking out, I'll save you a click.

Wow.  Very powerful tool and seems compact / ergonomic.  Great demo video too.  Really gave the full gambit of it's capabilities.  Well done all around.

Meh.. Just a drill nothing new here.  [eek]

Kidding. It looks so quick and convenient to change operations and coupled with the size and ergonomics it makes a good case for using a corded drill again!

If this was a rotary hammer(sds) as well it would be amazing! But of course it would be larger and some people may not like that. I just feel that most drilling can be taken care of with cordless tools now a days and having one do it all corded drill/driver would be excellent.

Anyone here own a t/c-15 or t-18 and feel they could do most of what this drill does?

Thanks for posting this btw!

I wasn't quite sure whether TTS had taken my suggestion for a cordless power tool with a "mains" adapter that slides into the battery block of the tool for use as either a corded tool or cordless.  So you guys are saying it's only a corded tool?

All the other reviews I have looked at had it corded.

Looks like one sweet drill!  That would be awesome if something like this came out in N. America...thanks for posting the video, Brice!

All it needs is a battery.I mean how often does anyone use a corded drill for drilling holes and driving screws these days?

hmmm,

I'd be reallllllly impressed if he yanked out the bottom section with the cord, and slipped in a battery power source as an option.
Now that would be trick.
;D

Uhm, the battery version of this thing is called the PDC/DRC 18-4.

All the time ;)

When there is a gap of about 5 months and usage of a month repeatedly. There is little point in a battery powered tool [sad]
