The "Shed Of Doom!"

That was epic.

You can see how we've evolved from cave dwellers ... sorta

I don't even know where to begin?  [jawdrop] But I'll give it a shot .......

Nothing like the entire untreated floor framing resting on mushy wet ground. Aaaah, nope forget it, there is just too much.

Take your guesses , which goes first ..... rototiller through the floor or roof on rototiller ? [blink]

Hey, who's going up on the roof to lay the sheathing?  What nobody???   [scared]

If that's how Kim teach his people to build stuff, we won't have to worry about his rockets ;)

It's obvious he is not a craftsman, but don't write him off completely. He somehow managed to become a LANDLORD.    [popcorn]

Saw that on Paul Marcel's blog and proceeded to spend the rest of the evening reading through the thread. My gf kept asking me what I was giggling about so I showed her the photos and time-lapse video and she was laughing too.

See, that's the kinda work you guys would be doing right now if you didn't use Festool.  [doh]

I had some neighbors from India at my old house.  Not great neighbors, but good people.  Every couple years they would bring some of their family over from India to live with them in their house.  This often necessitated putting an addition on the house.  I wish I had pictures of the mismatched roofline on that house.  Every time, they just started adding on.  Then another neighbor would report them and an inspector would make them take down what they had done and start over.  Then they would do a worse job, but have each step inspected.  At one point, I think they decided that roofing felt was the same as siding.  No HOA in this old neighborhood obviously.

The best was when they built a shed.  They built a shed in the back yard that was about 20'x40' or so.  Pretty standard looking A-frame.  Someone reported it.  The inspector came and said it was a temporary structure, but it was too tall.  So, they hacked the A-frame roof off and put a flat one on which passed.  I still get a laugh out of imagining what the nosy neighbor (I have a pretty good idea who it was) thought of the results each time he reported them.  It was right along my property line.  Every so often I had to get a staple gun out and put the "siding" back on that was hanging over the little sidewalk I used to get my motorcycle back to my shed.

Wow, there is an hour of my life I will never get back...  [doh]
