Hi everyone,
A while back I decided that I needed a table to sit next to my sofa that could be used as a reading, beverage, nosh repository that could be moved with minimum effort. In essence, a "Sloth Table"
This table is made using only Dominoes, even to the extent that the inserts are dominoed to the rails, using one cut width in the rail and 2 cut widths in the insert to allow for movement. The whole deal took 6 hours from cut up to buffing and adding the wheels (notably absent in these pics). The table was finished using an RO150 starting at 80g then through to 400g, when Scandinavian oil was added. It was then friction sealed with the RO through to 1500g, waxed then buffed. The timbers are WA Jarrah for the frame and New Guinea Rosewood for the top and shelf.

Regards,

Albert. (Don't know any Orsons)

Nice and - apparently rock-solid - table. Wood and finish look beautiful. Thanks for the pics.

Regards,

Christian
