The ultimate endorsement

Since I don't have both I can't make an objective comparison however checking around the net I read several comments from those that do have both & where the PC ran out of power the Milwaukee doesn't flinch.  Many think the PC is actually over rated for power.  I am also fully aware that much of what your read everywhere on the net is very questionable if not incorrect.  We've seen examples over at tF.  [wink]

The 7518....

since it has multiple speeds.

I chose the PC because the motor diameter is larger. I'm not sure that is better but it does allow the PC to fit the Bench Dog lift directly without an adaptor.

Speaking of incorrect information, I just checked and it is in fact the 7518 Porter Cable that I have. I knew it had five speeds, I just got the number wrong.

I also bought it because it fits the Bench Dog lift so perfectly.

And, I've also never had the opportunity to compare its power with similar routers, although I've never had problems with it bogging down, even with pretty large bits.
