Shock horror! I've finally found time to post something!!! It’s not much I know but it’s a start..

I've spent a lot of time looking at other member projects, workshops, vehicles etc. It’s always fascinating to see how other people tackle various tasks...

I spend a stupid amount of time loading and unloading the van! Although I have a workshop the majority of my time is spent on site. I've now managed (after years of trying) to get the van something like organised!

The T-locs have helped no end for transporting tools from the van to the job.... I remember 6 or 7 years ago thinking how good the standard systainers where but the T-locs make the old catches look clumsy and slow!

Not all the systainers house festool gear, I’ve got other power, lasers and hand tools packed into order.

I'll try and find time to post some pics of the workshop and past projects!!!

I’d just like to thank the regular contributors for all their efforts! God knows where they find the time??? [thanks]

Afraid so! Cheap and not that reliable!! but its nice to drive and I couldn't go back to a van I can't stand up in............especially when it rains..................Which isn't much [censored]

Ya I had one and there's engine killed itself by sucking all the oil out of the sump and burning it up into black smoke.  [mad] saying that tho they are a lovely van to drive and cheap on fuel as well  [tongue]

Great van.  I refinish wood floors for a living, and have a newer sprinter, it has the full shelving in it, but I am seriously looking into changing up the set up with a whole side devoted to festool systainers.  This is my first post, I'm a Long time follower of this site, at the present time, I own 3- ct-22, and a lot of festool sanders, and a few saws.  Need to get some ideas on setup and these are perfect

Thanks!!
A friend of mine works for Sortimo, he talked me into buying a canceled order. It was a bargin but, if I had my time again I'd simply systainer everthing in a ply rack Ala JMB. I saw a trailer racked out with systainers not sure who's it was but it was spot on! My only issue with the sortimo boxes is that they don't stack!! I know they do the L-box system but there only as good as the old systainers.

Thanks Alan,

I know I know......keep looking but theres always something else to buy. you can't really see it but above the side door I carry the little Makita sliding chop saw along with the small dewalt stand, its amazingly good for its size and weight! Ive got the big Dewalt 7something which is very average but it does!!
Where's your setup then??? [poke]

iv no set up yet.
just got a new berlingo (cant really aford a big van yet) and havnt even ply lined it yet. eventually i will have a few days off and get around to it

Great setup!  [thumbs up] [thumbs up]

I hope that anyone over on that side of the ocean will post your vehicle setups.  I am hugely interested in what Ford is bringing here in 2013/2014 and want to see what works for you guys and what has worked for a long time.  I would not be surprised for Tanos to make a push on their racking system here at the same time (I am only guessing - it would make sense), but the pre-made systems come at a considerable cost.

Peter

Great set up!

What are your opinions of the Ford Transit? They're coming here next year. It will be the first real competition for the Sprinter.
