This is gonna take a while. Miter station/shop build gone overboard!

Thats a great idea on the ceiling.

I think i will employ that.

Feel free to use my idea turning the corner ;)

Nice job.  I like how you turned the corner.  I am in the process of redesigning mine and was considering the same idea.

As for rails, I hang my shorter rails vertically.  For the long rail, I repurposed the original shipping crate and screwed it to the ceiling.  Had to brace it a bit to keep the front from sagging, but it stays up out of the way.

Clearly i love birdseye and mahogany. Maybe obsessed!

I don't see why you could not spray the waterlox. I have not tried it thought. And i have sprayed everything on earth more times than i care to remember. I was a interior painting contractor for longer than i care to remember also.

My opinion is that a nice white china bristle brush is optimal. It is very watery and takes a minute to soak in. Especially once you get a couple coats in and the pours begin to fill and the product beings to build atop it self.

Even with a brush i find i have to keep working it till it sets up a bit as to avoid sags.

What a magnificent build!  I am a huge fan of birdseye maple and mahogany.  I used it in one of my first veneer projects.  (Yes the filletti has issues.)  It's a great combo.

I am going to look into "waterlox" for my backsplash.  Can I spray it with an HVLP?

That rig for the Kapex is outstanding.

Wow, I would never have the time to do that. I'm too busy making money.  Glad you have the time. [huh]

I work 7am -3:30 monday through friday.

Work is residential construction and 90% of the time i work no more than 10-15 minutes from my house. I'm home by 4pm everyday.

No wife or kids and zero interest for either ever. I like my free time ;)

I don't care much to sit still so i find plenty of time make things.

I used to work my life away chasing the almighty dollar. Then i finally accepted im a carpenter and I'm never gonna get rich. Seemed smarter to learn to live with less..
