Is it just my imagination or are the Festool CT 22 dust bags (paper) not as strong and reinforced as they once were?

I have had two bags burst within the vac in past month!  [eek]  [mad]
The second just happened and I have come inside to 'cool off'.
Just as well I have a Midi to clean up the mess.  [smile]

Given this experience, could the new CT26 bags be fitted?

I'm not sure if they're available in Australia, but there are fleece bags for the CT 22/33 that are more heavy duty, 456870 for the CT 22.

Thanks for your speedy reply Shane, yes they are, but I still need a throw away bag as am currently sanding and do not like emptying bags of fine dust, (refer Peter P). Also I frequently cut MDF.

The bag in my Midi appears to be much stronger, hence my thought regarding CT 26 which is closest in capacity.

Edit.

There is no prize for the first person who mentions a Dust Deputy, I am just not a fan as I move my vac a lot.

The fleece bags are throw away bags. As opposed to the long life bag. The fleece are indeed much stronger than the paper.

Ah thank you Seth, should not have assumed Shane was recommending long life bag. And yes the http://www.festool.com.au/epages/tooltechnic.sf/en_AU/?ObjectPath=/Shops/tooltechnic/Products/456870/SubProducts/456870

are available down here at A$119 which is not a significant premium over paper. Only three more of the paper left in box (nice box though), and I will change over.

Once more FOG provides the solutions.  [smile]

I bought my CT 22 used the guy threw in a box of bags. Yea they do tear easy. Im down to my last 2. So I went and bought a long life bag. If ya look at the cost in the long run the long life bag will save you $$$.

Thats my thoughts on it.
