So I bought the kid that has the HKC and the tid it comes with a 5.2 batteries. Is it possible that I made a mistake and should have ordered the kit with a 4.0 batteries this thing is really heavy with a 5.2 battery

Only you can be the judge of that, as it is purely subjective.

I myself don't like the heavy batteries and really prefer the smaller ones.

I have both 5.2 and 4.0 batteries. There is not much weight difference between them.  You can barely notice it on the saw. The 4.0 is heavier than it looks. It also has a larger foot print than previous batteries even though it is not as tall.
