time for my CT 22 to retire

Howard, as someone who owns a MIDI, a CT 26, a CT36 Auto, AND a CT Sys Vac, I'm THE LAST person to talk you out of buying a new vac..... [poke]
But I do agree that it might be worth waiting for the new models if they aren't 2 years away from getting here to the US....
Oh, and I used to own a CT-22 as well..... It was my first Festool Vac... [thumbs up]

Im fairly new to Festool so not sure how they have operated in the past in regards to details on upcoming products... but just how are we supposed to know when the new vacs will be available in US? I myself am in need of a vac very soon but would not be happy if a month later the new one was available (specifically Im looking at the Midi but want it to have the new Hose). I don't expect Festool to release this info as they dont want sales to stop until the new vacs come out, but perhaps some of you on FOG who have been around a while have realized a trend as far as release dates and can share. Are US tools usually 6 months...12 months...2 years behind the European release dates??
