Hi I have just moved into a new house with a large attached garage and I want to sort out all my tools and bits so that I can put them on my nice new shelving and access them easily, a real luxury after years of keeping and using everything in a small garage with no shelves!

I have a systainer with my festool sander which I like sand so I am thinking of buy some more systainers of various sizes to store lots of other tools and bit and pieces however buying the boxes seems a bit expensive,

I have been searching for systainer bundles or other deals but haven't found anything, I am after about 15 in total a mix of sizes, probably 2 x SYS1, 3x SYS2, 5x SYS3, 3x SYS4 and 2x Sys5.

Anyone got any tips where I can get these at a good price?

Thanks.

Im not sure not looked around recently but VANtainers where the cheapest.  Also you mention systainers  but you do know  they have been replaced by T-locs?!?!

Well Vantainers have T-locs also

You should also look into sortainers they are really handy for smaller tools screw drivers etc.    Warren at bunny bolts is doing really good prices on the sortainers better than any where currently on the internet

Compare  T-loc 1 price

Warren £27.00  including VAT and Shipping

Vantainer £33.33   including Vat   (Not sure if its including Shipping)

Hi and thanks, yes I did know about t-locs, its t-locs I am after, I used the wrong name because the one I already have is an original systainer.

Hi wytco0,

Welcome to the FOG!  [smile]

I can't help you find deals in the UK,  but if you need any Systainer ideas..................

Seth

I have just changed all my old type systainers for the new "T" locks , got them all from Slingers, but as has already been mentioned Toolfest are also doing good deals.

I hadn't intended changing them but with the deals I just got drawn in.

I was also amazed how quickly the old type sold on E-bay.

Try this company: http://www.systemcontainers.co.uk/http://www.systemcontainers.co.uk/. They are part of Toolfest.

You can customise each Systainer with different coloured boxes, handles and locks.

One of the cool features of the site is you can configure your Systainer on screen and see how your customised box will look.

Thats the same company as Warren from bunny bolts - toolfest    He has a few websites rather strange really he has set up a different web site for everything.

Warrens websites 4 different websites

http://www.systemcontainers.co.uk/.

Thanks for the tips, maybe 15 isnt enough to generate interest from sellers but none of the people suggested seem to be interested in doing any deals.

I think I will have to have a look at other non systainer options as well.

What do you mean ? They are doing deals the prices on tlocs are really low at some dealers I would imagine they are hardly making a profit.

iv found uk dealers good to negoriate with. just play one off against the other. my local dealer in ireland will even match the best uk dealer prices on accesories. i save a nice few pound

You will only get deals with dealers who have the t-locks at retail prices but they are more expensive in the first place.

Warren at Toolset, system containers is doing them at a much lower price then any where else so he's not going to give you even more off.  Plus Warren give you good service and does have good offers but he aint some one to bargain with he neve budges!

My regular dealer I use can't match Warrens systainers and rails and my regualr dealer and I have a good relationship!  My regular dealer can't believe he's doing it at them prices keeps telling me he's doing it at a loss!  He clearly ain't no one runs a business to sell stuff at a loss especially when they have to restock when sold out.

So hence why I bought my stuff from Warren the other day and I'm thinking of getting some more.

Their is no alternative to t-locs they are the easiest and nicest storage boxes to use.  The only competitor is Sortimo and I work for a builder who has 5of them and I don't like them.  Some times you can't get them to lign up for them to click in place.
