Hi guys, just looked on ebay and found a new ts55r for £275, being so cheap i bought it, the company was toolsnet, but now im worried about the warranty, usually any problems i contact my dealer, can i contact festool direct if any problems arise?
They have a few listed all are brand new items.

If your dealer is a Festool authorized dealer then he isn't allowed to refuse servicing you, whether you got it there or not.
He won't be happy for sure but that's another question.

Being an ebay only shop my concern is being able to contact the seller for repair if needs be hence why i ask if i can contact festool direct, hmmm i may cancel the order

I meant your local dealer, you are supposed to be able to bring in for repair any festools there whether you bought them there or not.
My local dealer has a sign saying they won't service tools under warranty which weren't purchased there, except for Festool.

Good post Dan, I hope all Festool dealers will cover the warranty I have just ordered one from Toolsnet as well. [scared]

Cool, glad it was of some help to someone, thats an awesome price tho eh? I was gonna stick with my trusty ts55 but its rude not to upgrade at that price :-)

It just occured to me it I dont think it includes the Systainer but you cant get everything, I guess I will just have to make a box for it.The Systainer is £60.00 odd unless I can find a deal on one of them as well.
