Just had to share-
So the other day I break down and purchase a quick clamp for my new MFT setup. Get it home and it is defective (machined wrong). So I take it back and the owner of the store takes a new one out of the box for an exchange and throws the defective one back on the shelf. [scared] Later that day, I call the sales rep at the store to let him know that he has defective merchandise on the shelf and to order another clamp ( so I at least have a matched set). He says he has more clamps in the back stashed away and I should come in. I swing in after work to show him the defective clamp and pick up a new one. Meanwhile he asks if I picked up the MFT/TS75 I had been asking about because they are on sale now. I say yeah they are great (by the way thank you uncle bob for the speedy service). He goes in the back to get the clamp and then says are you here to buy a clamp or return a clamp. I already have my money ready and say buy a clamp, unless you want to give me one. He takes one look at the computer and says sure take it, these are some promos that came in with something that I ordered. SCORE!!! FREE CLAMP!!!!
And I was also able to track down a stay toolie today, so I will be road tripping tomorrow with my two year old daughter. Luckily she loves tools and hardware stores.
