Toolie

I'll be in London and Manchester. Got some big nights planned. No wife no kids!

I've skied at lake Louise, near Jasper  but usually I go to Utah.

I think your son will have a great time.

Hello Richard,
Hope I'm not too late.  Fellow Canadian here [smile].  I also would like one and if the quota permits ill take a second.
Have a nice trip!
Dimitri

Hi Dimitri,

Sorry I have no more. I don't even have one for myself! Let me see whether the first batch arrives before I get to England, and if so, I can order a second lot when I go.

I also have to draw the line at a max of one per person, as otherwise it will be unfair.

Thanks
Richard.

Update.

I don't like to make promises I can't keep, but I expect to have the toolies in London on Tuesday and in Canada on Wednesday. Since they are a new product (newly relaunched) they are coming directly from Germany.

Once I have them here, I will head to the post office, get some shipping quotes and let people know what they owe before posting them out.

Cheers.

Update.

I have PM'ed everybody who is on the list for a toolie asking them for their address and preferred method of payment so I can send out the toolies which are ready to go.

Please check your inboxes and get back to me,

Thanks
Richard.

P.S. Bizarrely, shipping to Ontario was more expensive than to the US!

I've received my Toolie in the mail -- Thanks Very Much Richard for your kind effort.

Simple questions always fascinate me (to no end  [unsure]) -- low and behold the Toolie has a T-10 bit included, the BIG Centrotec set has no T-10's anywhere included in it.  The big set does have T-25 bits which the Toolie doesn't.  I very much like both sets but again it sets me to wondering -- why, why, why???  [smile]

The big Centrotec set is meant for general installer/carpentry work while the Toolie is meant as a one-in-all tool to maintain your Festools. So somewhere on some Festool there's a T-10 but there's no T-25 on any of them.

Simple answer, alright then.

EDIT:  I was just watching Paul Marcel's video on aligning the Domino sight cursor... ALAS, it is secured with two T-10 head screws.  [wink]
