Thought this was pretty odd, when one of my batteries on the tracks died it just died and i couldn't use it until i took out the dead battery. very annoying when making a long miter cut, had to make a fresh cut

Interesting. So it doesnt make the switch to the single battery mode without restarting the saw huh? I guess they figure people will either be using one fully charged battery or two fully charged batteries when they start using the saw and not one battery with more charge than the other.

it may have to do with which battery was dead. i'll check next time (for instance if it's the top battery that's fully charged maybe it keeps running)

when one battery dies i put it on the charger and keep using the other until it done then add back the second battery. but i'd like to keep working and finish my cut. With my milwaukee m12 i can keep working with the tool in a low power mode for some time, seems like the festool doesn't have this feature and just shuts off
