Tradesman/Installer Cleaning Set

I recently purchased the Tradesman/Installer cleaning set (497700) and thought it was everything I needed. Is it part #452897 I need to attach the hose to the metal extension tube?

It's just a friction fit for the hose to go on. It's a bit of a tight fit to keep it from coming loose.

Edit: No adapter or anything else needed.

Okay. Thanks for the quick response. The hose seems to bump off the tube very easily.

Push it on further.  [wink]

The hose connector should pretty much completely cover the black piece on the tube.

Yes it does, I have had mine for over a year and the connection is still extremely tight.

As Shane said, push it on further / harder.  It is not a smooth or easy fit like most vacuum hose / tubes or even like the remaining tube/tube connections.
