Hello Festool friends- I have been lucky enough to be selected for Lagler's "Fly and Sand" trip this year, which is an all expense paid trip to Germany for sightseeing and touring their plant, as well as some hands on stuff involvomg European style floor sanding.

I have a question about what type of adapter/converter I need to bring. I would like to be able to safely charge my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook Pro. I see very cheap adapters on Amazon, as well as some slightly more expensive converters like that lower the voltage to 110v. What would be best for my trip?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Congrats!

Most, if not all, of Apples chargers support 120-220v so the only thing you would need would be the country power connector. I believe Apple sells a travel kit of different plugs.

Adapters are cheap.  I wouldn't buy anything from Apple (even though I have lots of Apple things).  Should only cost a few dollars to get an adapter since no voltage change is required for the Apple chargers.  If you're staying in a hotel, you might be able to plug the charger into the shaver outlet since most of those take a variety of plugs.

Thank you for the suggestions!

Lagler is a manufacturer of floor sanding equipment. They revolutionized the industry in 1964 with their Hummel sander, the first flooring belt sander, and then again later with their Trio, a 3-disc sander that has buffer type operation, but sands about 4 times fast and much flatter.

Just take the slide off apple unit off of it.
Apple does sell the international kit for ~50$... but being cheap I just buy a black cord from the local shop for 5 Eu and stuff it in the hole.
