Trigger switch too sensitive on TS55?

My brand new track saw works great except that I need to have a near death-grip on the trigger to keep the motor from turning off during a cut.  I'm trying to stay relaxed and gently push the saw along the track, but I have to squeeze the trigger so hard I'm afraid I'm going exert excessive lateral forces that distort the cut.  Is this sensitivity normal?  Can I adjust it to be less sensitive?  Should I take it back to the store?  Thanks for your help.

Without feeling it ourselves it is hard to know if the pull is normal or not. Therefore I would recommend taking it back to the store, and pulling the trigger on their floor model and possibly another saw that is brand new. At that point you will know what normal should feel like.
