I picked one of these up when buying more blades and kit for my track saw, out and about the little dust bag collects most of the dust but thought I'd try and upgrade with something between the vac and tool. I'd read about cyclones but dont have time to sort anything out or space yet and the bucket appears to be modable in future.
just moved house so everything is still all over and ended up machining in the house as its so wet and too far to the garage.
just in the process of making a walk in wardrobe from scratch and out of 25mm mdf I'd picked up bog cheap, that and making some mft tops produced a serious amount of dust most of which was pleasantly kept away from me and into the bucket. larger lumps escaped but my newly prescribed glasses remained crystal clear.
it comes complete with hoses, attachments and instructions on the side. it can take two tools or a top and bottom draw with plenty of room for the hobby shop being emptied once a day. the best bit is you can use any vac so it can be built into a workbench with an old house vac that we all have tucked away. I'm building a mobile bench with that in mind as I've carcases, shelves, walls and doors to make.
two drawbacks IMO the hose is a bit stiff for powertool use which takes some getting used to and the filter does clog up with constant use needing a bang on the top every now and again.
overall though well worth the 40 quid and it will pay for itself out of unused vac bags as I would have filled three already.
and it doubles as a bucket. [big grin]
