True Position Puck Light Jig

Looks like a decent piece of kit to me. If you do enough of that sort of thing then I'd say go for it.

I own the True Position tool that is for drawer and door handles and knobs. It is a great tool that is very well made. I  am certain you would be pleased with the results from this tool as well. My two cents!

Looks a well made tool but seems a bit pricey.

Over here we use a lot of led tape now so lights can be hidden a lot easier.

I too own their cabinet hardware jig and find it to be an extremely well made tool.

I've seen the Puck light tool displayed at a woodworking show, and if I did any number of puck light installations I would love to have one.  It seemed extremely well made and perfect for the job.

Certainly not inexpensive, but if you do a lot of puck lights it would probably pay for itself quickly in efficiency and time saved.

Now I am looking at their other jig.

Been looking at this puck jig and the daughter wants a makeup table... This could be ideal for that as well a bunch of built in work that the Haus-Boss has for me to do.

Most of our local MDF stuff is 15-mm, so it looks like the Hafele LOOX 3001 LEDs requires only a 7/16" depth...
Examples:

833.75.010

I really like this.

Could those with experience comment on whether this leaves a noticeably weak or soft section if the puck is installed on the underside of a 5/8" shelf?
