Hi guys.

I am trying to figure out, and failing how to cut a 63 degree angle on the panel saw.

I did think about cutting a 40 degree piece of ply. Then resetting the panel saw fence to 23 degrees and cutting.

However when i looked at it earlier it just looked wrong.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.  [thumbs up] [thanks]

Bevel or angle?

I define a bevel as the edge of the item cut at an angle.

I define an angle as a cut other than 90º to an edge across the face as the item being cut.

I don't get it, doesn't your panel saw have a miter gauge you can set to 63 degrees?

If you can't figure out 63, turn the piece 90 degrees around and make a 27 degree cut.

Alex yes it does have a mitre but only up to 45 degrees.

I get 90 - 27 is 63. but isn't that a 27 degree angle not 63.

Edit-

Sorry this was a stupid question. I just realised what I was asking and the fact that the scales are half of the actual angle you require when cutting of the fence.

One of those blonde moments  [eek]
