Glad to see that you got it sorted.
I generally don't suggest a dado stack because you just never know where in the world a guy might be or what kind of equipment he has at his disposal. Some places you can't have them, and some guys use contractor saws that won't fit one.

I wouldn't have thought about the double edge guide thing either, again because how many people actually have two of them? It's kind of excessive unless it is something that you do regularly.

I hadn't really thought about the acrylic routing aid. I guess I just didn't realize that it would work with all three routers? It would be a lower cost alternative to buying a second edge guide for each machine, if you owned them all (or would use it with all of them).
Still seems like a lot of money for something that is theoretically so simple, and just plastic? But I guess the usual rules apply, "if you use it enough, it is worth the investment."

Yep it’s over $300 for the acrylic part. I picked up second edge guide for like $60 after seeing someone using 2 of them instead of spending $300 on the plexiglass one so I had it. But that block was in the way so running it with dado and table saw was the easiest solution to a problem.

Are you in Europe or UK, somewhere like that? As I understand it, one edge guide comes with the unit as part of the scope of delivery there? Here in the US, it does not. I have one for my OF1010 and OF1400, so that's already an add, two is a bit excessive, unless you use it that way a lot.

They used-ta-could come with a parallel guide, way back in the classic Systainer days.

I think I'm somehow up to 4 parallel guides for my OF2200 since I bought a used accessory set.  At least one of the others was mis-marked and sold to me as a guide for a 1400.  I was too cheap to bother paying to ship it back once I found out.

Some of the differences seem odd to me though?
Like the parallel guide coming with, in part of the world, not in the US.
The price difference between the holey and non-holey FS1400 in Europe, yet they are the same here?
I'm sure there are more
