Others have built shelves and platforms on which to place the TS-55 between cuts to keep it safe and out of the way. But the weight of the saw makes it awkward and a strain on the wrist to lift from a platform that is more or less horizontal and below the MFT. My version more closely resembles a gun holster in concept. The saw is rests almost vertically in the "holster" so that it can be inserted and removed easily without straining the wrist. Notice the row of dominos in the bottom of the holster to catch the front edge of the sole and prevent the saw from tipping backward.
