Others have built shelves and platforms on which to place the TS-55 between cuts to keep it safe and out of the way.  But the weight of the saw makes it awkward and a strain on the wrist to lift from a platform that is more or less horizontal and below the MFT.  My version more closely resembles a gun holster in concept.  The saw is rests almost vertically in the "holster" so that it can be inserted and removed easily without straining the wrist.  Notice the row of dominos in the bottom of the holster to catch the front edge of the sole and prevent the saw from tipping backward.

very Cool  [big grin]

How is it mounted ? Can it move ?

Ive found that my wrist is straining and will give this a try Thanks

Nice concept! I like that you thought about the offside splinter guard by rebating the right side of the base to accomodate it, too.
Well thought out. [thumbs up]
Rob.

The holster is "hung" from the T-slot underneath the MFT side rail with 2 bolts, washers, and nuts.  Loosening the bolts will allow the holster to be moved along the rail or removed entirely.

Thats cool. I've often thought I like something like that.  I keep my ct33e close with the hose cady on top.  I have a mdf cut out that sits on top (wher you can put a systainer) and just plop it on that.  Your's looks cool.  Mind sharing the dimensions so we could replicate?

Not my photos, but I have a few photos saved in notebooks from a time before they were lost. These are the images in the original post.
