Other than cutting the track strip I'm finally using my TS 55 REQ for the first time. I'm using it to crosscut 8/4 hard maple and the first thing I noticed is the blade isn't at 90. I loosened both ends, moved it back until it stopped, tighten the rear knob then the front. Did another test cut and same problem. Got the supplemental manual out and couldn't find anything on adjusting to 90. Found a little set screw by the 0 indicator and tried that. After several iterations and test cuts my gauge went from 0 to 1/2 but now my cuts are wacky. I'm using a jointed board and Woodpecker's square and here is what I'm seeing. The front edge of the board has light at the bottom (like this /) and rear has light at the top (like this \). I loosed and tightened the knobs and did a few more test cuts and same results. I clamp my track down with each cut.
Any ideas on what is going on and how to correct them? Am I not adjusting blade squareness correctly?
