The cam that engages the plunge lock with the FastFix lever is not adjusted correctly and allows the plunge lock to engage when the FastFix lever is in the lowerd position (all the way in). It has been this way since I bought it in March-so I haven't used it but for some test, and a few times to see if it would "break-in" and work. No luck.
Any suggestions about adjusting the cam?

Welcome to the forum.

Festool has notified the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada of a potential problem with the plunge mechanism on some TS 55 REQ Plunge-Cut Track Saws.  While investigation is continuing, Festool, in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), intends to recall affected units. If you have a TS 55 REQ Plunge Cut Track Saw, please discontinue use immediately and call Festool directly at 1-855-784-9727.

You should not, under any circumstances, attempt to modify the tool yourself. My apologies for the issue.
