TS 55 Sparking

Just getting quotes on a new armature. Looks like £95 + VAT.

Anyone got one from a dead machine ? Where, of course the dead thing isn't the armature!

Is that the price from Festool , or the same clowns that "fixed" it the first time ?

95£ isn't trivial, but it's still a lot less than a new Festool or Mafell 55mm track saw !

I shall not be using those clowns again...

£95.00 isn't to be sniffed at, that's two days wages to a labourer... However, prior to the realisation of this saw's death, I've been looking at the Mafell saw's - it was a toss up between the FESTOOL track and the Mafell track. Seeing as I've not be happy with the FESTOOL chop saw and now this TS 55 issue, I'm feeling the need to swing in a different direction - as it were.

My 'working' TS55... It's great... My drills, great... As too the router...
