For guide rails, two 55" lengths is the bare minimum to make an 8' cut with the TS 55, but a combination of 55" and 75" tracks offers the best versatility with either saw.
To connect tracks, we recommend the TSO Self-Aligning Connectors (our recommendation), or for the budget conscious, the Festool Self-Aligning Connectors for a few bucks less.
