[welcome]
First of all if you don't need the mobility, don't go for Festool. [crying]
Sorry for the late reply, had to register first ;D
I'm a lucky guy. [not worthy]
I have both the MFT/3 and the CMS. I didn't check the 16 & 23cm Nigel is talking about, I'm sure he's right. After all he's also right about the extensions and sliding table. First I bought the MFT (after festool increased the height and corrected the angled ruler to my likings) then the CMS (with sliding table, extra sidetable and rip fence). They were both on my wishlist for over a decade.
Let me try to give you my impression of the combinations. If you say accuracy, I say repeatability. From experience I know it's quite easy to set the TS75/PS300/OF1400 up to 1mm or 0.5mm of the required dimension. Higher accuracy, let's say up to 0.1mm, is possible but require some back and forth adjustments. Since my stock is standing in my garage it's not that stable in dimension to go below the 0.5mm accuracy. However repeatability is great.
That's why I bought Festool. The same story goes for the sawdepth setting. I'm pretty sure a dedicated table saw is easier adjusted but look at the price tag and mobility.
In cases you wonder why I have both the MFT and the CMS, examine the height.

I use my MFT as an outfeed table or my CMS as a side table. Since they are easily moved around, you can do a lot...
