I have just returned a 6" precision triangle and various other pieces that claimed to have .001 accuracy over the entirety. I am now looking at a TS Aligner with 6" precision square plus Fowler digital dial indicator at $500. I am ready to say it's worth it. Anyone have one or used one? I know it is overkill but you get what you pay for.

Would you publicly or privately give more details about the items you returned?

I thought Ed Bennett was no longer responding to inquiries. Do you have another source for this?

I have the industrial model but not the square.

In a prior thread I noted that I am able to align my SawStop to within .0005 of an inch in all measured directions.  Personally, I am glad I have it.

I too would like to purchase a set of his squares, however, Ed Bennett stopped responding to emails about a year ago.  I have called at least three times and written at least as many emails. Silence... [sad]  I have considered an offering by WoodPecker ???, since I think they have a set of angled squares but their, reputed, tolerances are not close to what Ed offered.  I hope what you returned was not from WoodPecker.

You best bet for acquiring one is to watch eBay, Craig's List and other WW boards.  I know they are out there and eventually someone will want to sell theirs; that is how I acquired mine.

Good luck.
