Hi all,
Today I've just been cutting pieces of mdf out for making a nice doll house for my brothers daughter, and while cleaning and packing up, I came across the inlay in the TS55EBQ systainer, which as allways have some not so displayed possibilities. So, to make a short story long, I am placing two of my Festool clamps in the left side, after the saw is in place.
As I allways clamp things before cutting (well, almost allways), I need at least two clamps and they fit very well exactly as shown in the picture, without disturbing anything else. And they don't rattle around
Btw. I mostly use the green 7 meter cord when powertooling, as it's very convenient for me. The ordinary ones is there as a backup.
I find that the long green cord rolls up and fits nicely like shown in the picture.
Hmmm, I must get one or two more, so I don't have to open more systainers, when reaching for something  [scared]

Question: what are those two small cavities actually meant for? some other kind of Festool clamps? (which I don't have, as I've got 4 short and 2 long ordinary ones)

Question: Why is there a small plastic tube on one of the rails on the parallel guide for the TS? It can be seen in the picture, and I am used to be using it, but I don't really know why the tube is there?

More tips for the TS inlay is very appreciated  [big grin]

Cheers and merry Christmas,
jacques

Hi woodjunkie,
At least I think it's practical  [smile], but anyway, I would still like to know what those two cavities are made for???

Maybe someone with quick clamps could try the same, and tell if they fit too?

Maybe the clamps for the MFT fit's in?

Cheers,
Jacques.

When I get a TS 55 from Festool, the Limit Stop is on top, in the groove on the left side. I don't think it belongs there. I always move it to the spot shown in one of the above images during my inspection of the tool. They tend to fall out of the slot on the left.
