Hi folks,

my guide rail moves when I'm cutting and I've replaced the grip strips so they are new. It feels like the saw is pulling towards me at the start of the cut and then away from me at the end of the cut. Is there some adjustment needed after the tool took a fall?

Thanks, Bernard.

Yes!  You will need to readjust your toe-in on your saw.  At the bottom of p.12 of Rick's Supplemantal Manual you will find a section entitled, "Matching the TS55 to an Existing Guide Rail."  This outlines the process.

Currently I own and use 2 TS55 and 1 TS75. The oldest TS55 was purchased in January 2006. All of my many guide rails have been cut using the oldest TS55.

Using the method described in the supplemental manual, each of the additional saws were adjusted to work identically to the original one.

I have good friends with larger crews using as many as 12 TS55, all adjusted to toe and track the same as the others so no worries about which rail is used with which saw.
