TS55 and CTL22 w/ ? 27 hose

Hi, I jsut bought a TS55 and a CTL22 Dust extractor (My came with a ? 27  hose)

I'm more than happy with the purchase only gripe so far is I find the extraction from the TS55 no quite good. so I think is something related with the speed I'm using in the CTL? or maybe is the diameter of the hose?

BTW: just wondered  why festool send  ? 27  hose even my small Dyson vacuum have a ? 36 hose

The 27mm hose should be more than adequate with your TS55 saw when the collectors speed is adjusted to full rabbit. At least it has been with mine.

Andy, My guess is, it is easier to handle the smaller hose while draging a hand held power tool around .

It would be a nice option if, when you purchased a vac, you had the option of a 27 or 36 hose. The 36 seems to be recommended for more of what I use the most (router,TS55 and down the road maybe a Kapex).
