i am in the process of making a wine cabinet, which I will post in the members projects forum when done.. but I took some pictures today cutting the wine lattice with the rail and ts55.. it works great.

I have used this method for the last few I have done... I have tried with table saw to trim to size and that is dangerous unless you use a sled as it can, and did for me, kink a bit and f'd the whole piece up...  I have used a jig saw but that does not make a clean cut.

so the ts 55 is the way to go again, thanks festool.

I've also done this several times.  It does work well.  Some wine lattice has staples at the cross members so you have to be careful not to wreck your blade by cutting through a staple!!

Haven't played with that wine lattice, but here in Oz treated pine lattice for outdoors is very common and there's a lot of concertina effect in the stuff as it pinned very sparingly! Track saw's the only sensible way to go with it.

Kreg,
could you please explain how you went about making your lattice?

You can buy it in sheets ... or at least you do in Oz, so I'd be certain you do the same in NA.
