TS55 dust port retrofit question

Will one of these fit on my older TS55 (not the "req" model)?

I replaced the hose and it has one of the newer twist-lock connectors.  I assume the retrofit dust port will fit the hose better?

Yes it should fit.  If the saw case doesn't close all the way you have to rotate hose adapter until the tabs key in properly.
