TS55 giving me electric shocks?

For the last few days I have been sawing white oak with my TS55 connected to a CT22 via an anti-static 36mm hose and been receiving small electric shocks. When I used my domino on the same wood, there were no shocks.

The wood is kiln-dried and well-seasoned in my shop.

I used my CT with the same hose to clean up and there were no shocks.

I've never had this problem before and I've had the vac since perhaps 2008. The TS55R is less than two years old.

Any ideas?

Richard,  please take this the right way - I know your posts and respect your skills (OMG) and advice here.  Is the humidity unusually low there perhaps?  We tend to get more static questions in the dry winter months and I know that the weather has been really strange again for many of us.

Hi Peter- thanks for the kind words- it's a good suggestion but no, the humidity had been much lower a couple of months ago, but it's higher now and as the snow is thawing it was around 50% today.
