TS55 not cutting straight

When cutting narrow boards with the TS 55 and 55" track, perhaps 3-4" wide, I do not get a straight cut; the board is a mm or so wider at both ends and narrower in the middle.  Any thoughts/ suggestions welcome.  thanks

My suspicion is that you might be introducing deflection into the cut by pushing the saw laterally during the cut. I'm guessing that you've clamped the rail, hence the movement just in the middle of the cut and not on the ends.

thank you; you are correct that I am clamping the 2 ends.  I will try to be more careful to get straight behind the saw when I push

Try using your left hand. You will be less likely to push the saw sideways during the cut.
