TS55 PLUG

New to the FOG been reading posts for a month or so. My first tool was the new carvex 420. Just picked up the TS55 REQ. Does anyone else have issues securing the plug?  My fat fingers can't seem to get in there and I scrape up my already beat up knuckles. I also noticed the plugs for those two tools are different. Is this true with other tools?

Note that you can use the TS55 cord, which is a heavier gauge, on the Carvex and other lighter gauge tools, but not vice versa.

Thanks guys.  I've just been putting it back in the systainer plug in place.  It's so simple it's stupid I didn't think of opening the bevel first.
