So I have a brand new ts 55. It seems after doing a few cuts and flipping the pieces over that the saw at the 0 detent is off by about a half a degree. I read the old ts55 eq manual and saw the old saw had bevel adjustment screws. Does the new saw not have these? I would like my 0 degree detent to be 0 not -.5. Any suggestions?

There was a thread recently about this.  I think you may be out of luck unfortunately.  Maybe someone will throw up the old thread link or you can try and search for it.

I believe if you read the thread, others pointed out you can't adjust it.  The only fix is to know how much it's off and compensate, or buy a cheap magnetic digital angle finder.  I have the old ts55 and waited to get the newer REQ because little issues like the one you describe always get tweeted out once the new tools are the market a while.  I think compensating with your setting is about all you can do unfortunately.

I was thinking of getting an angle finder like you describe. My only question is if I have to turn the saw upside down how do i zero the angle finder when the saw is not balanced
