TS55 Systainer insert 201912

Hello, I upgraded my dust port on my TS55REQ to the new style locking port.  The instructions seem to be ahead of the logistics dept.  The instructions note that the dust port must be removed, or the insert replaced.  The insert number is 201912. 

My searches have been unsuccessful in finding this number in North America.  There is another thread on this that has the same conclusion.http://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-tools-accessories/cleantec-adaptors/

Chris , it fits but bulges the side of the systainer going by your pic.

FWIW, I don't see this on FUSA's spare parts list for dealers. (201912)

We can't find any record of a product number 201912 in NA. It was possibly the number in Australia (and maybe a few other countries.)

As Chris demonstrated, you should be able to fit the new dust port in the existing TS 55 Systainer.

The Systainer insert for the TS 55 REQ is 703572.

You can stuff it in there , but it doesn't really fit.
Makes the lid hard to close because of the budge. 

Besides , that kind of answer is a cop out.  Kinda like the trouser salesman telling me I'll grow into the pants he's trying to sell me that are too big.

You might as well have told us the saw could fit it in a Bosch LBoxx or a Dewalt tough box , or a milk crate.

Think your design team would have come up with a new insert with a new part number if the original insert was good enough?

  Fetsool can , and needs to do better.
