hi I am having problems with the trigger hold on device on the CMS table, the flimsy bit of plastic has given out and I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions on an alternative

There is a thread around here somewhere where somebody made the clip out of wood.  I think i saw a video with it as well.

ok i'll keep looking, anybody else with some grey matter still left feel free to comment

I have plenty of grey matter but am on travel so searching for it isn't all that easy.

If you have all of the "c" clip, trace it onto a piece of 12mm ply and cut it out. Might have to rasp or sand it down a bit to work but it will be better than the plastic one.

yeah i thought of that but i was thinking it would just snap. the quality of ply thats available lately is absolute rubbish, I suppose I could splash out on a whole sheet of birch ply, yeah right lol,

I use a strip of Velcro. About 25mm wide and 100mm long
