Hi all.

I have been doing some bevel cuts with my TS55R for the first time today, and I noticed its cut a bevel on the bottom of the splinter guard. If I do a 90° cut and then do a 45° cut without moving the track, the top of the 45° cut is 1mm closer to the track.

I have done some searching and there seems to be a few people that have had this problem, but I couldn't find anyone that has fixed this themselves.

Has anyone managed to fix this?
Or should I just try get it fixed under warranty?

If the problem is what I think it is then it can't be that hard to fix.

So a few days after I started this thread I took my saw to my dealer, they sent it off to festool who said there is a problem and they will fix it under warranty.

I'm still waiting to get my saw back.

Lucky this is my saw for home because if it was my work saw I would be in a bind.

Kinda hard to recommend festool gear to other tradies when things take this long to get sorted.
