ts55r Not cutting square.-SOLVED SOLVED SOLVED.

Let's not forget that Festool are precision tools. Protool are the heavier duty cousins.

I have the older TS55 and I'm happy with it. Buying new I would certainly go for the TS55R and in doing so would use it with right level of care required to set accurate cutting angles.

But if I send you my saw and you send me your saw then my saw is perfect and yours isn't.  [big grin]
No. You sort it out - if you are really unhappy why waste time writing about it when you could send it back or get it repaired.

Mine is still perfect.

Just bought my TS55r today (gave my 20 yr old atf55 a well deserved break) and mine stops at -1 out the box/systainer.
Pulling the knob has no effect at all. 45 degrees is accurate though  [unsure]

Will try the adjustment tomorrow - thanks for the tip !

I really think that on a £400 saw when you take it out of the box it should be set at 90 degrees and you shouldn't have to figure out how to get it to cut square.
