hey peeps i have a question about my t55r when the saw is in normal positon does that mean the angle is set to 0 or -1 reason i ask is if i pull the adjuster for the -1 it dosnt move the saw closer to the -1 its just stays in the position its normally in when it touches the bottom base, i find this annoying because if i want 0 i have to tweek the saw ever so slightly and tighten it up i was under the impression the saw should automatically go to 0 once it touches the bottom base?

Many Thanks
Tom

hmm well it sits in the middle of the 0 -1 pulling the pin wont move it any further so the arrow is bang on the line of -1 i could take it to axminster they have a festool world in the nuneaton store for them to have a look at it

Hi Tom just looked at mine and it sits at the same point pulling the button will allow you to go to 47degrees , or -1 looking at my own saw it also is not factory set as it should be , I just looked at page 19 section 7.3 and it states 0 and 45 degree are indeed factory set and can be adjusted by the service team , let us know how you get on at Axminster

Barney have you checked the cuts at 0 and the minus setting for accuracy ?

Ive now found out that the saw isnt set bang on by festool sometimes but you can adjust it as ive found out on the thread "my saw wont cut square" about 20 threads down from mine im going to have ago later at trying to adjust it.

Thanks
Tom
