Dear Festool. I love this saw.  Was there a reason to angle to cord out to the left?  it loves to jump right into the slot on the far edge of the track.  maybe i have my deflector installed incorrectly??? it really doesn't want to mount in that slot.  As i'm sure that you are aware...my cuts are now MORE!! accurate, smoother and finer than factory edges and never need sanding. Please either have a plug with less angle or a deflector that stops this nuisance.  Oh, and please make the 1400 2" longer. thanks

While you wait for the redesign,  you can put track connecter in the slot or search through this forum for a deflector which was recently posted. Developer was taking order for 1 run of his design. The option I use is slippery sleeve wrap which wraps hose and cord together.

I use velcro to attach the cord to the hose and it helps to reduce snagging on the rail with the angle of attachment to the saw.

I use this same exact method. Works great!
Cheers
