TS60 Compatible Blades

In looking at the new TS60 track saw, I saw that it uses 168 mm (6 5/8”) blades.
Is it possible to use a standard 6.5” blade? Are the arbor holes the same size in the standard 6.5”
and Festool 6 5/8” blades?  I realize that if it’s possible, I’d lose 1/8”, but I’d also save 
money buying a good quality Freud blade over a Festool blade.

The TS60 blade uses a 20mm bore and a 1.8mm kerf - so unless the Freud blade matches that, the answer’s no. My advice would be to stay with OEM blades until proper aftermarket 168/20/1.8 blades become available.

I would bet that the official answer is NO. and for peace of mind, I would stick with that.
For some reason, I can't even get the correct sized blade from my Lietz dealer, and they are the OEM for Festool?

I pretty much figured I’d need to stick with the OEM blades,
but I thought I’d ask anyway.

The depth setting will be off when using smaller blades.
