I talked to our service manager about your saw and I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with it. I assure you that we will take care of repairing the saw to like-new condition. Also, apologies for the inconvenience of having to send it in for repair. As Lester told you, we have free shipping to and from the repair center and a 48-hour turn around goal for all tools.
It's disappointing that you might choose to sell the tool, but I'm sure there's someone here on the forum that would be willing to buy it if you want to list it in our classifieds section at a good price.
Unfortunately, regardless of the price of a product, there can always be an unexpected failure. I've had 4 recalls on my new pickup truck over the years, which was very inconvenient as well. My hope is that fast and thorough repair of the tool will change your mind.
