Brand new TS75 owner here. I’m having trouble with the front tracking guide binding on the rail. Every few inches the front guide will spin and completely bind up causing me to stop the cut, loosen, reset, and continue. I did not have this problem after originally setting up the saw but after about 100 feet of cuts I can’t seem to get it right no matter how I have the guides setup. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Hi, I see that there are no comments/reactions on your question. I encounter the same problem with both knobs. How did you resolve the issue? I'm looking for a solution because now my saw is useless.

Adjustment knobs are secured with screws from the bottom. Will tightening those help?

I searched already for a screw or something tot tighten the knobs but couldn't find anything. Can you please post a photo of the screw you are referring to? Your help is very much apprecitated!

It's at the bottom of the saw base.

It appears that older models have screws and newer push washers. All indications of a cost cutting move  [mad].  The only thing I can think of is push that washer further and hope it holds its new position.

I just bought my TS75, and it has the button head Torx screws.

Tried to push the washer further down, but no effect: the knobs are just as loose as before. (bought my saw in the Netherlands and have returned it today to the dealer....I'll post an update as soon as I get the saw back)

Maybe there is still somebody out there who wants to know what happend with my track saw? [unsure]
I send it back to Festool and they fixed the problem by replacing the baseplate. :) Now the green knobs have an additional white/grayish washer which keeps the right amount of tension in order to hold the knob in a fixed position: it works juist fine! (They apparently forgot to put this washer in place in the production proces!)
Thanks Festool for the quick action! (while it's a pity that it had to be repaired in the first place)
