TS75 VS TS55

Thanks for the clarification Forrest.

I would like to add that I have a few other guide rails that I use, and at times, connect them together to get the length that I may need for whatever.
My point was that whether you buy a TS-55 or a TS-75, you are still gonna buy more rails for different lengths of cut.
I just could not see rail length being the sole issue  :D  over saw selection. If you don't have room to store 1 large rail, get 2 medium rails and connect them together. To me, that's part of what makes these rails so versatile.

I guess I'll throw my 2 cents in.  I have had a TS55 for several years now and used it mostly in conjunction with the MFT1080.  I have yet confronted something that was beyond the capacity of the 55.  And after playing with the TS75 a few times here and there, I am very glad that I went with the 55.  The 75 just seemed too big.  And since I frequently take the saw off the table when I am making adjustments, multiple cuts, or bringing another workpiece on the table, all those little movements add up.  As a drummer, a woodworker, and a frequent computer user, anything I can do to lessen the fatigue on my hands and wrists is a good option for me.  I already have the cards stacked against me.  :)

I've used the 55 for about 7 months now on cabinet grade plywood, trimming solid core doors and cutting hardwood countertops.

It's done great for me.
