I had a Woodpeckers 18" triangle that came on an MDF board for easy storage. I fastened it to the side of my router cabinet. This is right across from my MFT slab work table so easy to take off and replace. When I saw the TSO MTR-18 and the many more features I had to have one. I purchased it on the BF sale. Ugh - when I got it I was like where do I store this with all the extra components? Ends up with some threaded inserts, all thread, and rare earth magnets I was able to have an easy to get at one place to find everything:

Awesome! I have kept mine in the original box and take it out when I need it. Your solution ie very elegant.

That's a good idea! Mine is leaning against the wall behind a Sjobergs bench (which I rarely use lol) with all my woodpeckers stuff. I have a job that has a bunch of prefinish birch coming up and planned on doing some shop cabinets. I'm definitely going to add in this board idea [emoji106]

Getting a little clumsy in my older age so I wanted as much in drawers as possible, as opposed to hanging on walls.  Less running into or knocking things off.  I have 4 pretty wide drawers in my main work bench.  Probably not the wisest move but it is working so far.  Both my blue (TSO) and red (WP) drawers are getting full so phase 2 needs to be worked out.

Ha - as long as you remember to close the drawers.

Have a similar problem with storage, but have run out of wall space. I copied this idea from somewhere of using the end of my workbench for storage, adding a sliding panel on full-extension slides. Still a work in progress, I plan to store small layout tools on the other side of the panel.

Final attachment of the sliding panel to the end of the bench. To minimize potential alignment problems, I had the panel hanging from the top slide and screwed through the back of the panel into the lower slide mounting strip.

After a few tries, this is the final arrangement I decided on; a mix of TSO and WP tools, with the silver triangle a Hanson that I had a machine shop true up for me. Looks as if I have room to mount some additional (smaller) tools.

This is how I mounted the WP rule and T-square; threaded insert in the mounting block and male knob through the rule, the strips on the sides keep the rule from swinging as the panel is moved.

I had my TSO and WP tools scattered anywhere in my shop where I could stash them.  When I built my workbench/assembly table, I added three wide drawers to hold all of these tools in one area where they would be used.  The Kaizen foam inserts are cut for each item.  The 50-inch tracks won't fit in the drawer, so I store them on the shelf under the Valchromat top.  You can just see the ends of the rails in the upper right corner of the image.
