I was able to set my guides up using the inch scale.  Using the narrow cut rods, I will add 10" to whatever I want to set the stops.  Now, I'm assuming that I am now calibrated for either inch or metric.  When working in metric, what do I add to my narrow rip width in order to set the stops?  Hope I'm explaining that clearly.

I think you'd need to re-calibrate them to 250mm, then add that to your measurements.

Why would you calibrate at 10" when you want to use metric? Dump the funny units and calibrate them to something easy, like 250 or 300 mm.  [big grin]

If the scales are in imperial and set to 10", you'd add 254mm then, or am I missing something?

So, I get it...when you calibrate, you do so with the scale you're going to be using most.  It's still calibrated, just not a convenient number on the metric side.
